Biological Dynamics Finds $26.8M For Cancer Diagnostics
San Diego-based molecular diagnostics startup Biological Dynamics announced this morning that it has raised $26.8M in a Series C financing. The funding included Heritage Group, Alexandria Venture Investment, and Irwin Jacobs, the co-founder of Qualcomm. According to Biological Dynamics, the round was led by an un-named, large institutional investor associated with a major university. Biological Dynamics develops a platform to help isolate nanoparticles from whole blood, plasma, and serum, for use in oncology diagnostics. The company is led by Raj Krishnan. More information »
