Bitium In Two Partnerships
Santa Monica-based Bitium, the Amplify startup which is developing app management, single sign-on, and other cloud-based app tools, said Tuesday that it has linked up with two companies in partnerships. The company said it has partnered with Zapier and Mover, to allow its users to move data between applications and cloud services. Zapier is a provider of software to map APIs between different web applications; Mover develops a data migration service to move data from one storage system to another. Financial details of the deals were not annoucned. Bitium is led by Scott Kriz; the company's venture backers include Resolute VC, Double M Partners, Social Leverage, Karlin Ventures, Ryan Holmes (HootSuite), Mich Mathews (Microsoft), Mike Lazerow (Buddy Media), Alex Bard (Salesforce), Hank Vigil (Microsoft), Rob Glaser (RealNetworks), Hiten Shan (KISSmetrics) and Sean Ellis (Qualaroo). The firm announced its seed funding in April.
