Blizzard Entertainment Apologizes For Hong Kong Controversy
Santa Monica-based Blizzard Entertainment apologized for the controversey that the company has faced, after it banned one of its competitors for expressing support for the Hong Kong protests in October. In a speech at Blizzard's BlizzCon, president J. Allen Brack apologized for how the company reacted to the issue at its Hearthstone e-sports event. Brack said, "We didn't live up to the higher standards we set for ourselves." Blizzard is running its annual conference this weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center.
