Breach Revs Security Tool, Targets Web 2.0 Protocols
Carlsbad-based Breach Security reports this morning that it has released a new version of the firm's flagship WebDefend web application security appliance. According to Breach, the latest version of the firm's product is primarily focused on Web 2.0 security risks, including security issues which occur from the use of protocols such as RSS, AJAX, XML, and SOAP. Breach said that the new product will defend against problems like cross-site scripting, XML poisoning, and other hacking techniques which have been enabled by recent use of Web 2.0 programming techniques.
