Catchpoint Releases Real User Monitoring Tool
Los Angeles-based Catchpoint Systems, the web monitoring startup headed by former DoubleClick exec Mehdi Daoudi, has released a new beta of a real-user monitoring tool. The firm said its Catchpoint Glimpse tool tracks the performance of actual visitors to websites and web applications, allowing companies to measure user performance and pinpoint user problems. The firm did not release pricing on the new tool. The additional capability comes on top of the firm's existing monitoring of web sites and applications from 26 U.S. locations. Daoudi was previously in charge of web monitoring at DoubleClick, before its acquisition by Google.
