Central Desktop Plugs Into Outlook
Pasadena-based Central Desktop, a developer of software-as-a-service, project management tools, announced today that it has released a new plug-in for Microsoft Outlook. Central Desktop said the new plug-in will allow Outlook users to synchronize tasks, calendars, and share content between Central Desktop and Microsoft's email platform. Central Desktop's service provides team project management along the lines of Microsoft's SharePoint portal product; the firm said it is looking to provide a SaaS alternative to Sharepoint for mid-market businesses. The new plug in is available for free for the firm's users.
