Cheers, Brady Bunch Land On Hulu
In yet another expansion of content on Hulu Plus, the subscription television streaming service from Los Angeles-based Hulu, the company said Monday that it has licensed over 5,300 episodes of programming from CBS, including Cheers, Taxi, The Brady Bunch, Melrose Place, and other television series. Financial details of the multi-year, licensing agreement were not announced by the companies. Other series covered in the deal are Everybody Loves Raymond, Laverne & Shirley, Ghost Whisperer, and Undercover Boss. The two already had an earlier deal--announced in November of 2012--covering Star Trek, The Amazing Race, The Good Wife, I Love Lucy, and more.
