ClariPhy Launches 10G Ethernet Over Fiber
Irvine-based ClariPhy Communications announced this morning that it will target developing 10 Gigabit Ethernet over Fiber products for its first products. The company said its first products will target the 10GBASE-LRM Ethernet standard. Clariphy's mixed signal chips combine digital signal processing (DSP) technology with CMOS to provide lower cost implementation of high speed optical connections. Clariphy, which is backed by Norwest Venture Partners, Onset, and Allegia Capital, also disclosed that it has now raised a total of $13M in its Series A round.
