Cleantech Open Receives Grant From Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator
The Cleantech Open, the Los Angeles-based effort which is helping clean technology startups with acceleration, support resources, and more--run by the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI)--is one of a number of organizations which have received part of a $1 million grant total from the Wells Fargo Foundation. According to the Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2), a technology incubator and platform funded by the Wells Fargo Foundation and run out of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), the Cleantech Open was one of 13 organizations sharing the $1M grant funding. Exact amount of the funding to the Cleantech Open was not announced. The Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator said that the awards are competitive grants to fund efforts to advance sustainable technology solutions that lead to partnerships, capital flow, job creation and sharing of best practices across the ecosystem.
