Cocodot Links With DKNY
Hollywood-based Cocodot, the online invitations site run by former MySpace exec Shawn Gold, said this week that it has partnered with DKNY, for a collection of fashion cards and invites. The site, which offers professionally designed online invitations and greeting cards, said the new DKNY collection went live yesterday, as part of New York Fashion Week. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The new collection includes six galleries of invites, greetings, and thank you notes inspired by DKNY's Fall 2010 collection. Cocodot offers up online invitations from professional designers, and claims a big following from celebrities, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Brooke Shields, David Arquette, Giada De Laurentiis, David Stark, Courteney Cox and Colin Cowie. Gold was SVP Marketing and Content at MySpace, and Cocodot is venture backed by Anthem Ventures, the Mailroom Fund, and Rincon Venture Partners.
