Cool Planet said the new investment is an extension of its previously announced Series A funding. Cool Planet, which has its headquarters in Greenwood Village, Colorado, is led by President and CEO Jim Loar. The company was founded in Camarillo in 2010, but went through a complete corporate reboot in November of 2015 when Agustin Coppel and North Bridge Venture Partners recapitalized the company from earlier investors.
