Creyon Bio Gets $40M For Precision Medicine

San Diego- and Research Triangle Park, NC-based Creyon Bio said Tuesday that it has raised $40M in a funding round. The funding was led by DCVC Bio and Lux Capital, along with Casdin Capital, Alexandria Venture Investments, and BioBrit. The company said the new funds go towards its platform and expanding its team. The company says it is developing a drug development platform which created data sets used for oligonucleotide-based medicines, ideal for treating rare or common diseases.
