CrowdStrike Gets Tops Ratings In Gartner Report
CrowdStrike, the developer of cloud-based, endpoint protection software which was started and continues to have major operations in Irvine, has scored a top rating in a report from industry analyst Gartner. According to CrowdStrike, it received the highest overall rating among vendors named a 2019 Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice for Endpoint Protection Platforms. The company said it's the second year in a row it received the top ranking. CrowdStrike said Gartner gave it a 4.9 rating out of 5 based on 228 verified customer reviews. Crowdstrike's flagship platform, Falcon, is used for endpoint protection in corporate systems. Despite confusion over what exactly CrowdStrike does among the general public and (especially) among politicians, the company--which publicly trades as CRWD on the Nasdaq--offers up its endpoint protection software to enterprise companies such as Goldman Sachs, ADP, Credit Suisse, Rackspace, Tribune Media, Sony, Union Bank, and many other major corporation.
