Cyber-Rain Gets Investment
Los Angeles-based Cyber-Rain, a firm that develops technology that uses the Internet to wirelessly control irrigation systems, has received a round of venture capital from Momventum Venture Management. Amount of the investment was not disclosed. As part of the funding, Momventum Venture Management venture partner Jonathan Niednagel has become Cyber-Rain's interim CEO. Cyber-Rain is developing technology targeted at saving in watering costs by stopping sprinkler systems on rainy days, and adjusting sprinkling schedules according to the weather. More information »
