DataDirect Networks In Play?
Chatsworth-based DataDirect Networks, a developer of data storage arrays for the high performance computing (HPC) market, appears to be in the midst of a possible acquisition deal, according to documents uncovered by PEhub. The deal--of which no information has been released--appears to be between DataDirect and Technology Crossover Ventures. DataDirect, which is headed by Alex Bouzari, denied a deal was in the works, according to PEHub's reporting. DataDirect develops RAID arrays which are optimized to deliver I/O performance to high performance computing clusters.
