DB Networks Finds $17M For Network Security Software

Carlsbad-based DB Networks, a developer of cyber security software aimed at corporate networks, has raised $17M in a funding round, the company said this morning. The funding was led by Grotech Ventures, and also included Khosla Ventures and Citi Ventures. According to DB Networks, Grotech's Joe Zell joins the company's board with the funding. DB Networks, which is led by Brett Helm, said it uses behavioral analysis technology to help its customers gain insights and situational awareness of their dataabse security and core networks.
