Donald Sterling To Microsoft Mogul Steve Ballmer: Not So Fast
It looks like the plan by former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to buy the Los Angeles Clippers has hit a big, new roadblock: Donald Sterling. In a statement, Donald Sterling said Monday evening that the Los Angeles Clippers is "not for sale" and he will fight the highly publicized deal to sell the team to Ballmer for $2 billion. Sterling also said he will sue the NBA for $1 billion to prevent the sale of the team, which the NBA has been attempting to force since Sterling's racist remarks were widely publicized.
