EdeniQ Links With German Firm
Visalia-based EdeniQ, a developer of biofuels technology and a spinout of Los Angeles-based Altra Biofuels, said Wednesday that it has linked with German firm IKA Works on supplying biomass mixing and milling technology for the biofuels and biochemical markets. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. EdeniQ's product is used at US, corn-based ethanol plants for increasing yields. EdeniQ is backed by Element partners, Cyrus Capital, Angeleno Group, Morgan Stanley, The Westly Group, Draper Fisher Jurveston, and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
