eMusic Relaunches Service
San Diego-based eMusic (www.emusic.com), the online music service which was sold a year ago by Vivendi, has relaunched its digital music services around independent music labels. The company said that it now has more than 500,000 tracks from independent labels. eMusic said that it has added music critics and features to help users recommend music to others, additional information about artists and tracks, as well as better searching and browing of information. eMusic offers its MP3 music through a monthly subscription.
