Enevate Announces Battery Technology
Irvine-based Enevate, a venture-backed battery technology startup focused on advanced, rechargeable Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries, said this morning that it has rolled out some new battery technology. The startup--backed by Mission Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Tsing Capital, Infinite Potential Technologies, Presidio Ventures, and CEC Capital--said it rolled out its HD-Energy Technology for Li--ion batteries, which it says enables high density, rechargeable Li-ion batteries with more than four times the energy density of conventional batteries. The company says it is aiming its technology for us in smartphones, tablets, ultra-thin/hybrid notebook PCs, and wearable devices.
