Enterprise Partners Portfolio Firm Heads Towards IPO
One of the portfolio firms of San Diego venture capital firm Enterprise Partners is heading towards an IPO, according to a S-1 filing Friday. According to Silicon Valley firm Complete Genomics, a provider of human genome sequencing services, it has filed for an $86.25M IPO on the Nasdaq as GNOM. The IPO is being underwritten by UBS Investment Bank, Jefferies & Company, Baird, and Cowen and Company. The firm's other venture backers are Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, OrbiMed Advisors, OVP Venture Partners, Prospect Venture Partners and Highland Capital Management. Enterprise has been an investor in Complete Genomics since 2006, when it was a Series A investor in the firm. Drew Senyei at Enterprise Partners is reponsible for the firm's investment in Complete Genomics.
