Entropic Hires VP Sales

San Diego-based Entropic Communications has hired Michael Economy as VP Worldwide Sales. Economy joins from Trident Microsystems. Entropic is developing chipsets for networking video and data into the home, and has raised $46M from CMEA, Mission Ventures, Redpoint, Cisco, Intel, and other strategic investors.
