Esri Backs Climate Change Resilience Effort
Redland-based GIS software maker Esri is contributing its software to help deal with climate change in developing countries, the company said Tuesday, in support of the White House Climate Action Plan. Esri said it will donate both its GIS technology and counsel to help developing countries deal with climate change, starting with efforts in Columbia, Ethiopia, and Bangladesh. Esri and six other companies are working with The White House on the effort, which will result in $31M in tools and training for the countries.
