EVgo Links Into Google Maps
Los Angeles-based EVgo, which operates a network of electric vehicle fast charging stations, says that it has inked a deal with Google Maps to feature the exact location and availability of more than 1,000 of its chargers on the map software. The addition of EVgo's chargers comes as part of a larger addition of EV charging stations to Google Maps. Evgo says it now has more than 1,000 fast chargers and more than 1,000 Level 2 chargers across 66 metropolitan markets in 34 U.S. states. Google Maps said it added charging stations for not just EVgo, but also Tesla, Chargepoint, SemaConnect, Blink, Chargemaster, Pod Point, and Chargefox to its maps across the world.
