EvoNexus Rolls Out New Tech Incubator Class
San Diego-based nonprofit EvoNexus has launched a new class of companies to its startup incubator, the group said on Tuesday, for both its San Diego and Irvine locations. According to EvoNexus, it has added 16 new companies to its portfolio of startups, split between both locations. The new San Diego companies include Accel Robotics (vision recognition), CB Therapeutics (biosynthesis of cannabinoids); DoWhop (peer to peer marketplace for activities); Elevada (data scrubbing software); GigaIO Networks (data center interconnects); Go Ghost (image format software); MiP.O.V. (social video software); MG Therapies (treatments for dry eye); Obsidian (MEMS thermal sensors); Sourcify (vetted supply sourcing); Tunnel Vision (VR software); and Uprise Energy (portable wind turbine). At the Irvine location, the new companies are BlockBuyer (crowdfunding); Syntiant (low power semiconductors for edge computing); ThinkIQ (IoT); and Move2Play (interactive toys).
