Farstone, Linspire Provide Personal Disaster Recovery Software
San Diego-based Linspire, and Irvine-based FarStone technology are announcing today that the two will offer a Linux version of Farstone's personal disaster recovery software. Linspire, a provider of a Windows-like Linux operating system distribution, and Farstone, a developer of data backup and recovery software, are partnering to provide a Linux version of Farstone's RestoreIT product. Farstone's Linux version of its software will be available through Linspire's online software store, and pre-installed on computers offered by Linspire partners.
