Fuhu Plans Streaming Service For Nabi Tablet
Los Angeles-based Fuhu, the maker of the popular nabi children's tablets, is planning a big launch into the streaming movie, music, and media market this week, according to reports. According to Time, Nabi is planning to launch a $4.99 per month service called nabi Pass which will let gets get access to movies, shows, music, e-books, and interactive games. Fuhu has quietly risen to become of the fastest growing technology companies in Los Angeles, and recently topped the Deloitte Fast 500 list for Los Angeles. According to research firm NPD, Nabi sold over 1.5 million of its tablets in 2013 and leads the children's tablet market. The company is led by Robb Fujioka.
