GITAI Shows Off Robotic Arm For Space

Torrance-based GITAI USA, which develops space robots, says it has demonstrated a 10 meter, robotic arm designed for use in space. According to the company, its new GITAI S10 has successfully completed tests to meet NASA's level 3 "Technology Readiness Level" TRL. The company said it is looking to get the arm to underwater testing by March of 2023, which is NASA's TRL 6 (System/subsystem model or prototype demonstration in a relevant environment) qualification.
