GoFundMe Dangles $10,000 To Help Raise Money For Flint Water Crisis Victims
San Diego-based online crowd funding site GoFundMe has launched a contest to raise money for victims of the Flint, Michigan water crisis, saying it will give the GoFundMe campaign that raises the most money by Friday to help victims of the crisis an additional $10,000 from the company. GoFundMe said the campaign on its site which raises the most funds to provide clean drinking water to the people of Flint between last Friday, January 22nd until 6PM on Friday, January 29th will receive the funds. The residents of Flint, Michigan, have been exposed to dangerous levels of lead in their municipal water, after a fiasco involving corrosion of lead out of the city's water pipes.
