Google Gains In April Search Numbers
Google continues to gain search market share, according to the latest numbers from comScore Networks today. comScore reports that in April, Google received 43.1 percent of Internet search requests, up 6.6 percent from last year and up slightly up from March. Yahoo, MSN, Time Warner, and Ask Network continued as the top ranked search sites, slipping slightly in market share. Also, for the first time, comScore included MySpace in its list of top search sites. MySpace garned 0.6 percent of all Internet searches in April. comScore said that there were 6.6 billion searches online in April, up four percent from last month.
