GoTV Rolls Out Reality Series For Mobile
Sherman Oaks-based GoTV, a provider of mobile content for cell phones, is rolling out a new, reality series for mobile phones. The firm, which develops content for mobile phone platforms, is announcing today a reality video services called Primped, which features Cuban-born model Vida Guerra. The series premiers today and is available exclusively through Sprint. The reality series focuses on makeovers of women by Vida Guerra. The move is one of the first dedicated content deals for the emerging cellular content business. The series is being sponsored by a number of brands, including Conair, Dollhouse, Divina, and Union Bay. GoTV is backed by Bessemer Ventures and Charles River Ventures, and has raised $15M in venture capital.
