Grindr's Return To Office Results In Mass Layoffs

Los Angeles-based dating and hookup service Grindr reportedly laid off 82 out of its 178 employees, after most of those remote employees refused to move to offices. The company had apparently given its all-remote staff two weeks to work from an office for at least two days a week, which would have required a move by many to Los Angeles, Chicago, or San Francisco. The company also is the target of two unfair labor practice charges filed by the Communications Workers of America with the US National Labor Relations Board.
