H2O Audio Raises $1M
San Diego-based H2O Audio has apparently raised around $1M in funding, according to a recent regulatory filing. H2O Audio is a developer of waterproof housings for MP3 players like the Apple iPod and other digital music players, which can be used while swimming, snorkeling, diving, or other water sports. According to a filing filed April 13th, the capital came as part of a round first started in May of 2008. No other details of the funding have been disclosed, and emails to the company were not returned. The firm also appears to be in the midst of raising just over $700K, based on an additional regulatory filing. H2O Audio has previously raised capital from Steelpoint Capital Partners.
