Honor Expands Senior Care Marketplace To LA
Honor, a startup that operates a marketplace for senior home care professionals and is backed by Marc Andreessen, said it has expanded to Los Angeles and Orange County, and rounded up a local executive to head up its expansion efforts here. Honor said it has appointed Steve Seigel as General Manager of the company in Los Angeles. Seigel sits on the board of the Jewish Vocational Service (JVS), is a donor and part of the Concern Foundation and Wilshire Boulevard Temple, and is also on the board of the Cedars Sinai Medical Center Board of Governors. He previously also was at hedge fund Tiedemann Investment Group, and JP Morgan. Honor said it uses app technology and quality home care professionals to help older Americans to continue to live in their homes. Honor is based in San Francisco.
