Hulu Plus Headed To Android, VIZIO HDTVs
Los Angeles-based Hulu said last night that its Hulu Plus service is headed to Android mobile phones, and also to Vizio's HDTV platform. According to Hulu CEO Jason Kilar at CES last yesterday, Hulu is looking to bring Hulu Plus to Android phones running Android OS 2.2 in coming months, on specific Android phones. Hulu operates an online video streaming service which features content from major network television broadcasters and others. In addition to the Android support, Hulu said it is now available on Vizio's Internet-connected HDTV products and soon will appear on Vizio Blu-ray players, allowing users to view Hulu episodes from either of those devices. Hulu also said it has inked a deal with Haier to also bring the service to that company's HDTV and Blu-ray products later this year.
