Hulu To Donate $250K In Revenue, Ads To Japan Relief
Los Angeles-based Hulu, the online streaming video site for television, movie, and other content, said last night that it is donating $50,000 its revenues plus donating $200,000 in ad inventory toward relief for victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Hulu said it will be donating $50,000 form programming across its Japanese content, coming from its share of revenue, towards the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief Fund. Hulu also said it would allocate $200,000 in ad inventory to PSAs for organizations direclty linked to the tsunami and earthquake aid efforts.
