ImaginAB Gets $2.3M
Los Angeles-based ImagineAb, a spinout of UCLA which is developing diagnostic imaging technology, reported Monday that it has been awarded $2.3M in funding, from the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. The company said the funding will go to help further develop diagnostic imaging agents for Positron Emission Tomography (PET). ImagineAB was founded in 2007 by three UCLA faculty. The company is targeting its technology for the diagnosis of pancreatic and prostate cancer.
