Inphi Responds To Patent Lawsuit
Westlake Village-based Inphi, a developer of high speed analog semiconductors for the networking industry, has responded to a patent lawsuit filed against the firm last week by Netlist. According to the firm, it will "vigorously defend" itself against what it calls a "nuisance" lawsuit. Inphi said it has not yet received communication from Netlist on the matter, and has not yet been served the complaint, but has examined the patent in question and believes there is no infringement. Netlist had filed suit on Thursday claiming that Inphi's iMB line of isolution memory buffers infringed on a Netlist patent.
