Inphi Sees Delays, Slowing Orders
Inphi Corporation, the manufacturer of high speed analog semiconductors which has major operations in Westlake Village, said Tuesaday afternoon that the company has revised its business outlook, due to delays in shipments and slower-than-anticipated rate of orders. The firm, which is headquarter in Santa Clara, said that "due to industry events outside of its control", it expects its volume production for its iMB products will "likely slip into next year." Among other factors, the company said it also had seen a slowdown in orders from its customers. The firm revised its third quarter revenues to a range of $16M to $18M, and flat revenue growth for Q4--down from as much as a 10 to 20% increase it had expected earlier. Inphi is down from its IPO debut price of $12.00 last year, trading around $7.90 in after market trading. The firm had its IPO last November.
