International Rectifier Names New General Counsel
International Rectifier Corp., a manufacturer of analog, digital and mixed-signal computer chips for use in power management applications, reported this week that it has hired Tim Bixler as vice president, general counsel and secretary. The El Segundo, Calif.-based company said Bixler, whose hiring is effective immediately, will manage its legal affairs, provide legal counsel to its board of directors and establish working relationships with business units and functions. He will report to Don Dancer, International Rectifier’s chief administrative officer, the company noted. Prior to joining International Rectifier, the company said, Bixler served as senior counsel for General Electric’s Homeland Protection business. He joined GE in 2001 as business counsel for GE Plastics. More information »
