Internet Brands' WebMD Launches New Financial Wellness Product
WebMD Health Services, which is a subsidiary of WebMD, itself a part of Los Angeles-based Internet Brands, said this morning that it hass launcheda new financial wellness product. WebMD Health Services said the new iGrad Enrich platform provides information and isnights to help consumers improve financial literacy through an in-depth, online assessment, and is targeted at helping employees and health plan members become better educated about their financial challenges. The company said the new service is aimed at reducing money-related stress, and also to help motivate change. The new offering is integrated with the WebMD Health Services platform. According to WebMD Health Services, the platform covers such things as helping to pay off student loans, planning for a child's college education, budgeting for health savings accounts and saving for retirement. Internet Brands acquired WebMD in July of 2017, in a deal worth $2.8 billion.
