JMI Equity Backs DoubleVerify In $33M Funding
La Jolla-based private equity firm JMI Equity has made a big investment in online advertising verification firm DoubleVerify, leading a $33M funding round in the New York company. According to DoubleVerify, the investment funding for the company came from JMI Equity, Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), as well as previous investors Blumberg Capital and First Round Capital. JMI Equity's Bob Nye, along with IVP's Dennis Phelps, joins the company's board as part of the funding. DoubleVerify said it has now raised $47M in cumulative financing.
