Kintera Buys Recreational Management Software Company
San Diego-based Kintera (www.kintera.com) announced that it has acquired BNW Software, a provider of recretaional and athletic facilities management software, for 22,000 shares of restricted common stock and $281,000 in cash. BNW provides software for colleges, universities, and community centers to manage intramural leagues, equipment, facilities, membership, building access control, and program registration. Brian Foster, former CEO of BNW will join Kintera as Director of Sales. Kintera said that BNW had unaudited revenues of $500K last year.
