Kurion Shuffles Execs
Irvine-based Kurion, the venture-backed developer of nuclear waste management technology, said this morning that it has shuffled its executive team. Ralph DiSibio, the company's Chairman of the board, becomes Executive Chairman and CEO. Former President and CEo John Raymont becomes Vice-Chairman and President, International Operations/M&A Initiatives. Raymont founded Kurion in 2008, and will focus primarily on Kurion's efforts in Japan where the firm has been working on cesium removal at the Fukushima nuclear plant. Kurion has recently been expanding its efforts beyond its initial focus on those Japanese cleanup efforts, into new markets both domestically and abroad.
