LA's Mira, Maker of AR Headsets, Acquired By Apple

Los Angeles-based Mira, a developer of augmented reality headsets, has been acquired by Apple, according to reports. Financial details were not announced. The acquisition--announced on the CEO's private Instagram account--comes a day after Apple unveiled a new, mixed reality headset called the Vision Pro. Mira had raised around $17M in funding; it's unclear how much Apple paid for Mira, or if its headset technology was incorporated into Apple's new product.
