Linspire Releases New Software Delivery Service
San Diego-based Linspire, which develops desktop focused Linux operating system distributions, said yesterday that it has launched a beta of CNR.com, a web site targeted at helping Linux users find software. According to Linspire, the new site will spuport finding both Debian and RPM-based Linux distributions. The new service is similar to Linspire's CNR desktop software, which is packaged with the firm's Linspire and Freespire OS distributions for installing and finding Linux software. Linspire said the new service is free to users.
