LogicBlaze Launches Web Services Suite
Marina Del Rey-based LogicBlaze today launched a new open source, SOA (Web Services) platform. The open source software firm said today that its LogicBlaze FUSE platform provides a packaged and pre-validated set of software for the SOA market. LogicBlaze has integrated software from the Apache Software Foundation and Apache Software Foundation Incubator, targeted at Web 2.0 applications. The elements of the LogicBlaze platform include a number of application middleware components targeted at Ajax applications, and includes a subscription to LogicBlaze production and developer level support. The platform includes Apache's ServiceMix ESB, ActiveMQ, Derby database, juDDI directory service, Jetty HTTP server, and other components. LogicBlaze also said it has an agreement with IBM to include IBM's WebSphere Application Server as a component of the platform.
