Los Angeles County Moving To Microsoft Office 365
The County of Los Angeles is in a big information technology deal, and will be moving about 100,000 of its employees to Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft said this week. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. According to Microsoft, the county is consolidating fifteen department enterprise agreements into a single, countywide agreement, and also help reduce the number of agency systems being maintained by the county. The deal also includes systems for around 20,000 law enforcement personnel, who will also have access to information using mobile devices and from their patrol cars.
