Luxe Valet Launches On Demand Parking Into Los Angeles
Luxe Valet, a new, on-demand valet parking app startup, has expanded into Los Angeles, saying that it will offer up its valet parking service to users in Santa Monica, Downtown LA and Venice. The Bay Area startup--which is backed by Google Ventures, Sherpa Ventures, and LA's Upfront Ventures--said it charges just $5 an hour to park users' cars, and a max of $15.00 a day for the service. Luxe Valet looks to be the third, on-demand valet parking startup to launch in Los Angeles, which also has valet parking startup Curbstand, and another Bay Area competitor, ZIRX, both of which also offer up similar valet parking services to residents via smartphone. Luxe says its team comes from companies such as Groupon, Tesla, Yahoo!, and Zyna.
