Menlo Micro Finds $44M In Series B
Irvine-based Menlo Micro, which is developing electronic switch technology, has raised $44M in a Series B funding round, the company announced this morning. The funding was led by 40 North Ventures and also included Piva Paladin Capital Group, Vertical Venture Partners, and Tony Fadell's Future Shape. Menlo Micro also has previousy raised funding from Corning and Microsemi. The company said the new funding round will go towards high volume production of its electronic components. Menlo Micro has now raised $78M in total for its electronics efforts, which focus on improving today's electromechanical relays and solid state switches. The company says it hopes to go from engineering quantities in 2020 to millions of units in 2021. More information »
